Kevin 337 Posted October 20, 2021 Say it ain't so Clark. They are changing Superman's motto to truth justice and a better tomorrow. https://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/ent/superman-american-way-catch-phrase.html
Chris 2,172 Posted October 20, 2021 Overall I can't get myself too worked up over this. Superman has become a pretty popular figure worldwide.
Andy 70 Posted October 20, 2021 Sounds like something Superman would do himself anyway
Adam 373 Posted October 21, 2021 its not so much the changing of the wording; “Truth, Justice and Freedom” does sound less....limp wristed than "a better tomorrow" it is more that you know its more a social justice -type move. sometimes change really isnt necessary, somethings are better left they way they are or has everyone forgotten Jar Jar Binks?

That's what I was thinking...especially when they pointedly note: Quote “The American Way,” which can mean something incredibly optimistic or woefully negative depending on who you are. I guess there aren't a lot of Superman fans among the tens of thousands enduring arduous treks in pursuit of "The American Way" at the border.
Hal 341 Posted October 22, 2021 Meh … just more pandering to make the sale . It’s all about the money the sale , does anyone really think they are doing this to promote inclusivity or diversity? Really … c’mon !
