Ok, this is better than the first trailer I saw. 

I love these kind of games but haven't played them in a long time. And now we have the internet capability to play them online. Still, I wish they'd release something for Mac.

Looks so much better than AOE3 quit being a snob with your Mac you are missing out on a lot of great RTS games. I'm hoping my laptop will run this game decently.

In my defense my lap top is a bit older due to bit coin mining and I assume covid I am way behind on having a new gaming desktop.

So today they released the open beta for the game to test their multiplayer servers, but I've never been good at these kind of games, so I wanted to see if there was single player options. Once I fired up the tutorial, I figured I'd grab some screenshots of the game.

 

I played the older games when I was younger, I think mostly AoE2, so they've nailed the feel from those games in this from what I've played so far, while upgrading the interface to look more modern, which I like. Some people say the graphics are locked at lowest settings so the final one will most likely look better than these screenshots but even as they are now I like it. I'm looking forward to when the final game releases, have it wishlisted.

 

(Another part of it being a beta means that there's floating disclaimer text always, nothing you can do about it)

It’s be nice if they found a way to prevent cheat codes. There’s nothing worse than someone who thinks that’s the way to play the game.

Most likely what they’ll do is block cheats from online multiplayer as a whole while keeping them in for single player only, but I’m not sure what they’ve done for past games
