    Fluff Enough

Add a can of tuna to that mayo and I’m in.

    Fluff Enough

I don’t eat them anymore, but live a good fluffernutter. I used to put jelly in them as well for that extra long sugar high. I also picked up the habit of eating peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches which, in hindsight, is completely wrong.
  3. If someone has never been to D.C. to see the memorials, they should. We were there a few years ago when an Honor Flight group came through. To see the very men those memorials were built for see them, was an experience to witness. I wanted so badly to talk to some of them, but also didn’t want to interrupt their moment. It was a privilege to be there, in their presence and I’ve never forgotten it.
  4. No, but we should try that. Maybe next year.
  5. Despite a bumper crop of apples this year, we sadly have no apples in storage. I had a bushel downstairs but the extended warm weather kept the basement from chilling down to a good temp for the apples. They all ended up on the compost pile. Good news is, we have several gallons of cider pressed and stored in the freezer so the crop wasn't a total loss. It was also a great year for the Yukon Gold potatoes, which are happy down there.
  6. LOL me too @MsKreed. Now we know!
  7. OMG those challenge questions. And then I forget, when it asks me the street I grew up in did I write _____ Road or did I abbreviate it to Rd? Or “Rd.”? And whaddya mean I got my first pet’s name wrong?!? Dont get me started on two factor authentication.
  8. Yeah and then you're stuck (gag) smelling dog crap (gag) the remainder of the afternoon (gag).
  9. Testing notifications for Jim. This work?
  10. Oh man, isn't this the truth! To compound the problem here, our yard is perpetually wet due to the sun's changing position. So that makes things even more difficult. And my weed whacker is JUST like your mower. I actually started to heave it across the yard the last time I tried to use it. Instead I resorted to calling it several really vile names. It wisely started on the next pull. I generally enjoy mowing, but this year I'm over it.
  11. I’m sure I’m in the minority but honestly, I don’t care much for or about Halloween. To me it’s one of those things that is for kids. Dress up and go to a party now? Shoot me.
  12. We did one once when we were in Massachusetts about 20 years ago and I have to say, I’m good with waiting another 20-50 before doing another.
  13. This is an excellent article and I’m so glad to have Renae as a friend.
  14. With the supply and shipping issues, it's going to be more important than ever to keep our economy as local as humanly possible.
  15. It's certainly the only one I can listen to from beginning to end. EDIT: Watching the video for "Rain Dance Maggie" reminds me, I've always wanted our band to play on the roof of the Werdenberg's building. I need to make that happen.
  16. I didn’t think it was but I looked it up. Google says mutton can be used to describe goat meat as well as sheep.
  17. Considering the shortages and supply issues we’ve seen in the past year, we should be doing everything in our power to make it easier on family farms, not harder. Because when that shipment from California or Mexico doesn’t arrive, what you gonna eat?
  18. I'm sorry about your Mom Linda. Sure sounds like she lived a full life though!
  19. Jeff raises a good point here. It's as though as the slovenly dress in public becomes more acceptable, so too does the crude behavior. I'm not a prude when it comes to blue language, Lord knows. But there's a time and a place. I shake my head at these guys driving around with "F-ck Your Feelings" stickers on their truck, sometimes with some sort of "I'm Country" themed sticker alongside. Son, that's not country, that's plain ignorant. Or the overweight lady in the too short tank top and pajama pants, body parts spilling out for all to see, screaming at her kid to "get away from the effing escalator" at the mall. At least the wanna be gangsters, walking around with their pants sagging below their ass, make it easy for the police to catch them in a foot chase.
  20. This is one of my favorite movies, and several songs from the soundtrack are in my playlist for sure. What blew me away when I found out is that the actor who plays the lead singer was only 16 when they filmed. Sixteen!!! I can't believe a 16 year old kid had the vocal chops he did.
  21. Spot on. There's a couple other songs I like that are found on their later albums, Daylight being one of them. But their debut album was really solid. Perhaps it has to do a lot with Adam's lack of major star status, he was still kinda awkward when they first hit the scene I think.
  22. Hey I love some tiddy as much as the next guy, but I have to admit Jeff has a point. There has been several times while watching a movie or tv show where, after watching an extended scene of someone getting it on I wondered, “ Was that really relevant to the story?” Maybe it’s worth re-examining this in what we watch.
  23. I neither feel proud or superior to others for having gotten the shots. Not do I care if someone else doesn't want to. It's a personal choice, and after my issues a couple years ago I feel if there's protection to be had, I'll take it. YMMV
