I only remember Oregon Trail. Hell, are computer labs even a thing anymore?

I remember having to pay $1.00 in school for a 5 1/4" floppy drive, then a 3 1/2 floppy disc. Both with a whopping 1.3 MB of storage.  Now you can put a terrabyte on a 1/2 memory card.

Slightly off topic, but thinking about computer labs got me thinking about the day one of my classmates was sent to get a bucket of water for cleaning the chalkboards ( I think, it's been 35 years ) and he came in swinging the bucket around in the air, demonstrating the amazing thing that is centrifugal force. The teachers however, had visions of an entire classroom of kids electrocuted and quickly escorted him back out the door. LOL!

My junior year forensics teacher loved this game, and he told us that whoever beat his high score (outside of class of course) and could bring in proof, he would buy them lunch from wherever they wanted.

I don’t think anyone could beat his score
