There is a local YouTube creator that is traveling around the Mohawk Valley and he is exercising his Constitutional rights. Some people do not feel that he has the right to do what he does, but that doesn't change the fact he's allowed to do it.

The creator known as "Mr. Nice Guy" has a YouTube channel titled Mr. Nice Guy Activism... 

During his videos he will do what he feels is best to serve the community at large by brining about transparency, disclosure and accountability. He of course, is always advocating.

One of his most recent run ins involves the Herkimer Water and Sewer Supervisor Scott Blais. There are a series of 3 videos in which Mr. Nice Guy was attempting to get answers on how the office was run.

I watched some of this guy's other videos and honestly, he seems like an asshole.

1. videographer is being an ass, at least in this series of videos you can tell hes kind of looking for reactions

2. this supervisor and at least the dipshit in the black/beard need to be fired asap, not only unprofessional but certainly a liability for the image and wellbeing of that town. he brings up the camera guy not having a vest/hardhat...well none of the guys working near the equipment including "donny" are wearing them either( see liability to the Town).

Yes....he definitely seems to be looking to provoke Public Servants. 

This (and some of his other videos) highlight a lot of examples of civil servants inappropriately reacting to his (First Amendment protected) goading. 

 

As long as they are a threat, members of the “public” are within their rights to probe and/or express disapproval of Public Servants’ actions (even in an irritating and/or disrespectful manner). And employees are expected to remain professional at all times, even in the face of “provocative” public scrutiny.
