Oh my aching ass … what the Hell is next !?

Ya know , these songs and “ old time mountain music “ have so much in common in telling stories about everyday living and working . Since i have been playing Clawhammer banjo i have learned how relaxing the old time music can be to play . Call it “hillbilly” or whatever but sometimes its easy to listen to and some can be very melodic. A favorite that i play is Over the Waterfall , no lyrics , not complex just … nice . Simple yet kind of sad , Hobos Lullaby a Woody Guthry tune is another favorite. Yes , too bad there isn’t a CD of this but two sites i follow or Youtube are full of Adirondack and Appalachian music .

Yep , Hochul, James and Bragg … all three were told “ stay your ass away “ but Krappy Kathy went anyway and got told “ where the bear shit in the buckwheat “ ! Sorry , that last colloquialism means , “ don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out “ ! And the look on her face was pure Gold LOL 😆 i could watch that all day . It’s about time these so called Representative's, at all levels , have the blood of Good Americans on their hands !!

All she wanted was a photo op ! Pretty damn low to go where you aren’t wanted but as with two others that requested to attend but were told NO !

And therein lies half the problem in D.C ! They are too busy playing grab ass in the sandbox and not doing the job for which they were elected !

We DVR it for a few episodes and binge after a few episodes. Having read the book years ago then having seen the original series I thought it wouldn’t be interesting but nope … its great !

Perhaps had she not been so condescending , “ now … simmer down , simmer down “ while gesturing with her arms . And “we are in a Church of God “ and “ get it out of your systems “ . Maybe she could have just waited silently until they Did “ get it out of their systems “ ! Was it rude on the Firefighters side of the thing , yes , from the swagger to the podium was she prepared for any heckling … yes , I believe so as it was fairly obvious . Now , from the Union side … To have the audacity to make it known to your Firefighters Union Membership that you would be “hunting down “ the hecklers Really …. As a long time Union representative ,with a good record of success's , I would have had a good case and a good conscious writing a grievance and going to arbitration as the actions , although rude , did not rise to any of the Seven levels of Just Cause .

I don’t give a rats ass who they boo ( as much as that person deserves it ) but the fact that the Officials stated they would “Hunt down “ the hecklers … that chaps my ass Big Time ! Can’t stand the heat you have created with a vendetta using your Office / title ? Maybe you should stay out of the kitchen!

So this “ CCCRA “ is basically a hedge Corporation for the CCIDA ?! Or would that be a Shill Corporation …

I get it . Just that for myself there’s something more satisfying in starting my own plants . Hell I just can’t waste three years of Horticulture and Landscaping school . Even if I didn’t follow through as a career I still enjoy some of what soaked in .

Shallow box , potting soil , water cover with plastic wrap , start em inside , even in the cellar , transplant when you want or when about 3or 4 inchs high .

Perhaps if the cost of using the grounds for other activities weren’t so prohibitive that would become a possibility once again .

This is reminiscent of the Buddhist Monk setting himself afire in a protest in Viet Nam all those years ago .

I know we have talked about this lately but i still can’t understand why they weren’t bought out . As many times as I have been there I have never not seen the parking lot full of cars trucks and buses … oops , sorry Karen , and motorcycles.Yeah I’ll bet it was a shocker to see it gone !

The way things are not shaping up , my plans will be on hold . And haven’t had a chance to talk with the “tiller fella “ in some time so you may have to give him a call . We have a 1/4 acre spot that has been let go to field and last year was heavy with Chicory , Timothy and some Milkweed so that will suffice for this year .

And with holes strategically placed in the bottoms of the two top rows of buckets this could be self watering !

Funny but not too funny that if CHIPS goes away we will have a couple town representatives wandering ( more than usual ) blindly in circles looking to shake no one’s hand for no reason … think Biden shaking hands with ghosts !

Not unlike pruning apple trees . More harm is done by not pruning to maintain the shape of the tree , vase shape in apple and peaches , pyramid shaping in pears . Directional pruning is also important to balance the weight of the scaffold branches , this is just pruning above a bud thats on the side where you want the new growth to go . Man , so many memories ! As a country boy it was quite the deal to look forward to going to Eldridge Park on a warm Summer evening… if the work and chores were finished for the week . Flying scooters at night , roller coaster , ski-roll games and my personal favorite the Bumper cars , against the rules to “ bump “ … until the operator turned his attention LOL ! Good Times . Oh yeah , and a “hook-up “ was a ride through the haunted house with that cute girl that you shared your french fries with …

It’s going to be Winter squash this year . Butternut , Acorn etc. . I seem to have lost taste for potatoes the last few years but can make a meal of squash 🤔🤷‍♂️. And go figure , the very thought of my eating tomatoes up till a few years ago would have been met with a huge NO ! But now … cherry type and a heritage type called Xanadu , green goddess ( yes ripe and excellent when green ) right off the vine .

Aside from being “ oxygen sucks “ these turds need to be …🤔, gone ! After watching the vids of these cockroaches i had to tell the wife to change the channel or something was going to be flying at the TV . Break from the news media started that night !!
