  1. Closest one I know of is Johnson City.
  2. I just went down the Youtube rabbit hole and saw this. If nothing else, it shows I was not the only one who reacted to it this way. Now, if you haven't seen the season 2 finale, you DO NOT WANT TO WATCH THIS!!! Mega-spoilers abound, you have been warned!
  3. Legalization is long overdue. It's a great revenue source and I'm not completely convinced it's the "gateway drug" so many have believed it to be. Also, it's great for those who have chronic pain but can't get their doctor on board to give them a script to get the medical grade stuff ( which is also insanely expensive last I knew ).
  4. Even though it's a little north of the Twin Tiers area we cover, I can't help but mention Ithaca Beer Co. Every year my in-law's buy me a six pack from them and so far they're 3/3 on picking a good one. Their first pick was the Cascazilla and I don't recall a whole lot about it other than it was pretty good., and appropriate for colder weather when you don't want something too heavy. Last year it was the Flower Power which was also pretty good. I recall this one being pretty good tasting and very aromatic. Another one I'd buy and drink anytime, especially good for warmer weather. The Brew York pale ale is pretty good, although maybe a little too light for me. Nonetheless, it's an enjoyable beer with strong, hoppy flavor but not too strong, if that makes sense. ( Sorry, you won't get a lot of beer snob terminology from me. ) I forgot all about their Apricot Wheat until I was looking at their site! This is a good one that was served at a cousin's wedding and lives up to its name. A nice aroma and a light, fruity taste without being too over the top. A GREAT Summer time beer. All four of these beers are available year round and found in most places that carry craft beers. I recommend all of them.
  5. I’m wondering, maybe we could just hire Kiefer Sutherland to pretend to be President for eight years?
  6. Add Lights Bakery to the list.
  7. Well, you shouldn't watch anything else unless you finished both seasons of The Mandalorian so we can talk about it here and not worry about spoiling it for anyone. There's an absolute TON of stuff available on Disney+ and even if it weren't for the Star Wars franchise, it'd be well worth it. I just wish they'd put more of the classic shorts on there, and make the ones they have a little easier to find. Strangely, I've never watched Tron.
  8. LOL I thought of this scene, involving an entirely different Dr. Dre, an MTV personality in this movie with his partner, Ed Lover:
  9. You may have been thinking Dr. Drew, who's legitimacy as a medical doctor has been questioned over the past year or so.
  10. For my list I tried to go with the first song to come to mind to avoid a long post 😃 70's - "Come And Get Your Love" by Redbone 80's - "Come On Eileen" by Dexy's Midnight Runners 90's - "Save Tonight" by Eagle Eye Cherry 00's - "How Far Is Heaven" by Los Lonely Boys 10's - "Gangham Style" by Psy I confess, for the 00's and the teens I had to review a list of one hit wonders as that's about the time I stopped listening to a lot of Top 40/contemporary music.
  11. It must suck knowing no matter what you do, you’re essentially powerless.
  12. Sure sounds interesting, we'll give it a try soon.
  13. Maybe they recently started testing for it now that it's identified?
  14. Yeah that was a good one. I also saw one where Calvin was an adult, found Hobbes, and passed him on to his daughter. We have a stack of the books here ( as well as countless Peanuts collections ) but one of these days I'm gonna get the two volume complete set. Same for The Far Side.
  15. The mutation can happen anywhere. I think using terms such as "UK Variant" is more a way to distinguish the mutation from the original more than anything. For all we know the mutation could have happened here, and it got to the UK somehow, where it was noticed and identified. The higher rate of contagiousness is concerning, especially when you look at what's happening in CA.
  16. I came in to today's briefing late, but I didn't hear anything that indicates to me that the state is even considering another look at the restrictions and zone designations.
  17. Yeah... Cuomo was on Twitter today: Dude... then f—king distribute it! You're in charge, make it happen. Who is stopping you?
  18. It’s been a game changer with our cooking!
  19. Peanuts, The Far Side, and Calvin and Hobbes... my three favorites. They just don’t make em like they used to.
  20. Last night my wife was browsing Netflix for something to watch and she came across this show. At first I was pretty skeptical, but then after watching the first episode I was hooked. You like old things? Check You like to see old things taken care of? Check Check it out:
  21. Yeah I always thought he was underrated. A great, distinctive voice. Apparently he had issues with worsening dementia already so i guess in a way it was a blessing. 2020 was merciless to country music this year.
