But while we were there for Alive After 5 on Friday night, we took the opportunity to poke around the old post office and federal courthouse a bit. What they've done with the place is amazing. It's somehow got this upscale yet laid back vibe to it. Just what Elmira needs. I didn't get a chance to try the food, but I'm told it's quite good. The beer selection is insane, I think 30 different beers? They just opened the patio off the second floor which is only for rentals or special occasions I believe. It's very nice: I think the owners should be applauded for their use of this building space. The updates and things they've done compliment and retain the historic aspects of this grand building.
