"Spencer Farm Co-Op" Film - 1947

This film, shot in 1947, shows operations at the Spencer Co-Op and more. It was filmed by a crew from Finland. 

While there is narration, it's completely in Finnish. The website caption translates to:

A region near New York in the USA inhabited by Finnish immigrants. About 800 Finnish chicken farmers live in Spencer and nearby Van Etten. The film tells about the life of farmers and the farm, as well as their cooperative (Spencer's cooperative). Party at Van Etten's cultural house of progressives. (American Finns).

This is super cool! I watched it twice. 

Someone on Facebook said their family is in this film and translated for them. I sent them a message asking if they'd share it with us.
