My response to the FB post: No direct input from the public doesn't necessarily mean you can not contact your own legislature and let them know how you feel about it, although I have no idea who will actually be on that committee. I have never been on board with the legislative chairperson deciding what goes on the agenda. That's no way to represent an entire county. I have also never been on board in regard to hiring consultants for anything unless it is clearly outside the area of expertise of the legislatures themselves (such as significant engineering/infrastructure type of research

Really not any different than alcohol. Alcohol is legal however I can not be under the influence at work or I'll get fired.

I have to agree with you. Since I know several "recovering addicts" personally (21 years this week!), their stories have always blamed alcohol much more than marijuana. People get drunk and make poor choices was what I was told. He never even cared for or used MJ to begin with.

Seem everyone is suing now. Apparently that's what it takes. I agree he is going to make it all his idea, just like with the gyms and salons. That was also due to a lawsuit in another county.

Penn Yan is a stop we make quite a bit when out on the bike. Its a nice little town, good pizza place and little shops. There is also a Moose Club to visit. 😂

This is funny. I can answer the Antler question as about 5 months and I said the exact same thing about Santa's overnight weight gain when I watched this the other night. lol
