Yep I saw that but what one guy said was they were "riding the line" and that's illegal. Is it? I would think crossing the line would be, but riding the line? You would know that one better than me, but that guy knows.

Plus those "eyewitnesses" who claim to have video & have yet to actually post it. You know damn well if they had it, they would post it. It would have to be a dash cam and I'm not sure how someone would be lucky enough to be right there at that angle when the crash occurred.

Not that I disagree with his message, I do question whether he has absolute authority to stop or decline payments that I assume were previously approved by the legislator? The IDA requested the audit so they already knew their were issues and they wanted to figure out how to resolve. An audit was the perfect start. The executive seems to imply credit for everything no matter where it generated. Again, I support the message just not the messenger. lol

I get so confused about peoples attitudes on this. First there is nothing but crying about no affordable housing & crying because the city keeps knocking down historic buildings. So, they rehab 4 historic buildings and turn it into affordable housing and now everyone is crying because there will be nothing but riff/raff there. Can't win can they? I know Arbor takes Section 8 vouchers but low income doesn't necessarily mean people are dirtbags. Hell I know rich people who are dirtbags.

Good question. I re-read it twice to see if anything else was referenced or it was even the same project. Sure sounds like it. Maybe the city was counting it's chickens early and went to the legislature for some county money assuming they would get the state money they wanted.

Honestly, the more I read about Mr Moss the less impressed I am. Other factors aside, the Arena seems to be doing what they said they are going to do and bring in events, concerts, activities etc. This other "corp" is not new. I feel like no matter what they do or try to do he is not going to be happy unless he is in charge and that's really the issue here.

Isn't there a maximum word count for publishing an opinion piece? Anyway, the Star Gazette is published in Binghamton. I don't think they care at all about Elmira. The only thing I ever see is sports or articles that are a week later than all the other news sources that already posted them.
