The Ukrainians have lived under tyranny before and won’t go back.  They are stubborn and determined and I don’t believe they will give up.  I’ll probably take heat for this but I think they have more grit than most civilians in this country.

100% agree them Ukrainians have balls of steel.

    I liked it.

I think my buddies were underwhelmed but I think the purpose of this series was twofold. One, to tell us how Boba escaped the sarlaac pit and where he was up until he met Din Djarin. And how he ended up with Fennec Shand.

But also it was a set up for not only Mandalorian Season 3, this story will likely tie in with Ashoka’s series. And possibly others.

As I’ve said before, I’m happy to be alive in a time when there’s so much new storytelling and filling in some blanks.

Completely agree with you it was a great show

That's why I'm thinking the series will drop then. They wouldn't release a comic adaptation before the series. Unless of course it covers different ground.

Ill be adding it to my pull list looks pretty good and the Star Wars comics have yet to disappoint

There’s also an Ob-Wan comic being released in May, but I’m choosing to believe that it’s the show

There is a comic coming as well looks like it may cover the original trilogy and some of Obi Wan's past

Be no different than a cigar store where they have a smoking lounge or a hookah store.

Well just a bit different since weed gets you high and those dont.

I have no problem with it personally, I just don't see it as a huge draw business wise.

Yeah I'm definitely not interested in onsite consumption or sharing equipment with strangers.

I haven't seen the language of the various licenses.....would an individual business be limited "either/or" where consumption sites can't sell and sellers can't have consumption?

Unless businesses would be restricted in that way from selling and onsite consumption ....then I would imagine, like wineries and breweries, the opportunity to "sample" before buying would indeed be a huge draw businesswise.

That's a good question. I wonder if there is anywhere in the bill that covers that.  Honestly I don't think I would sample anything on site especially if I didn't have a DD.

I'm not so sure I understand the need for on-site consumption establishments, so I can understand opting out of those. But by opting out of retail sales, aren't these municipalities missing out on a potential for a lot of tax revenue?

As far as onsite consumption you have bars where you can go and drink why not have bars where you can go and smoke.  Guarantee a lot less trouble gets started in a weed bar than in a normal bar

  7. We will be lucky to get a dispensary in this area they are not going to be popping up like Dollar Generals. I do know of 1 company who makes edibles has been looking into opening a brick and mortar store.  Not many of the local sticker stores will be able to even afford the licensing fees.

i see the point but if you dont swing at the ball you'll certainly NEVER hit it....im thinking more long term that if enough towns/areas at least allow dispensaries, that opens a possibility, albeit remote, for growing of crops to sell in said places as well as normalizing the growing of Hemp. Agriculture that this area has plenty of land to promote

but again, village idiots and all

Unfortunately I do not think you will see many small farmers selling to dispensaries the amount of taxes both parties have to pay during the transaction make it not so lucrative then to turn around and sell it for a profit on top of including charging the customers taxes I don't see it happening.  I estimate the retail tax in Boston dispensaries at 25%

  9. Village of Horseheads is right on top of that incoming tax money lol. Funny they opt out of legal dispensaries but still allow the gray area sticker stores to operate. I had a good conversation with a local business owner who said people have been beating down the door to try and rent the 2 open spaces next to him for sticker stores. Anyways his concern was that these shops are face it selling consumables ie; smokable products or edible products with no liability who is testing the products for safety besides the customers.

Rant: All the cars blocking traffic while they wait to get into the drive through at Dunkin Donuts. This is especially an issue on College Ave and the one on Miracle Mile.

Arbys at lunch time also has people backed up into the road. Ive seen people lined up down grand central waiting to get into Wendy's is the food really that good lol.
