This was pretty damned exciting, even though I didn't watch all of the series:

I thought that was him but was not 100% sure because he was not actually the last of his species. Must be building up for the Ashoka series. I am guessing we will be seeing Sabine in the next couple episodes since she is Mandalorian

I have been to three events there and it is well run, well attended and a beautiful clean, nice venue.

The noise complaints are nonsense.  You can't hear a thing outside.  Dave went out to smoke last year at a July show and was literally right outside the building and could not hear Double Barrel playing right inside.

The "trouble" has never happened ever.  They have a bouncer every 2 ft, literally and there has never been any kind of trouble.

The "neighbor" who complained is someone I believe I know personally and that's what he does wherever he goes. Even to a little private club.

They have been operating for 2 years with well attended, well advertised events and suddenly they have no permits?

To me this sounds like a pissin match.  Adam or Scott made someone mad or the other local larger venues are unhappy?  Who knows but I doubt this will go anywhere.

PS.  I will be attending a concert there on April 28th.  Can't wait!

Exactly what I said. Who did they piss off Tags or The Arena. I've picked up my daughter from her Cheer Practice and the events are always well staffed and you can not hear what's going on inside.

This seems like a good business idea, but man, I'm not so sure I'd do it at the mall. With the price of a lease there, you could get a stand alone place at a better location.

So i have wondered this myself as well especially when places are only open part time. Someone mentioned maybe they get a percent of the profit

  4. The greedy bastards are trying to tax it by the THC content now which will screw them and the legal market and just push more people to the grey market. With the potency tax 3.5 grams will be about $158.00

So if they want to charge a potency tax on THC why not charge extra for high alcohol content liquor or beer

It must be nice to have nothing better to do or worry about but finding the next thing to be "outraged" against. From the mythical litter boxes in the schools to Mr. Potatohead, the source is usually one person, often someone who makes a living on our outrage culture.

I don't care if the "green M&M" character is suddenly wearing pants with a huge bulge in the crotch. So long as the real candy isn't.

Well the bulge would just be showing that its a peanut m&m

i guess the inevitable question should be: despite the grey area of selling/gifting, they are still transporting schedule 1 drug across state borders, one would think that in itself would be a non-starter and a way of shutting them down

Got to catch them first and you know its not the shop owners going themselves or at least transporting it anyways.

Well like someone said on r/Amber, we’ve been disappointed how many times before? Seems like it’s “been in production” for twenty years now.

Never even thought to check for an r/Amber.  All we can do is hope we actually get it this time and they do good by it.

Though I have to admit I'm a little nervous about what they'll do for casting. Will they stay true to the books? Although to be fair, they never really mention skin color, unless it was for the people in Rebma. The rest is more hair color, beard, etc.

And I wonder if they'll set it in the 70's or current times?

I would hope they keep the same setting and not try make it set in modern times. I am sure they will pander to some group to keep it PC.

unless mistaken, the majority of the sticker stores are getting product either by going out of state and bringing it back, or going downstate and buying from suplliers who have done the same. seems theres some legal issues there as well as not being able to verify the stuff hasnt been laced

About the only thing it is being laced with is THC distillate spray. Dealers are not wasting the expensive product to lace some low quality weed.

You are correct they are going out of state and most of its west coast reject product and they are all getting it from the same supplier.

Even once the legal dispo's open up in NY I wouldn't touch their product either. They have no regulations in place for mold and quality control.

Even the medical grade from the actual pharmacy in Johnson city is not all that good and its expensive.

Personally I have been dealing with a grower in Binghamton area who is awesome and grows some high quality flower. They take great pride in their product and are all organic and it shows. My edibles I get from a trusted source out near Auburn who makes all sorts of snacks and now even regular and decaf infused coffee. These guys know their shit and you are not dealing with your typical "dude where's my car" type of people.

I think that's the problem.  Bars, liquor stores, and any other establishment that sells "controlled" products have permits, licenses and proper insurance. These sticker stores are just operating as retail establishments and not paying or doing any of that.  Which isn't fair at all.

Wait until the first one that gets some inferior product laced with something.  That will be that.

Actually some of them are already selling CBD sprayed with THC not to mention all the black market edibles being sold made with who knows what. Basically if it comes in a knock off package of a brand name its fake. 90% of the vape type products being sold are also black market poop made with who knows what chemicals. My suggestion avoid 99% of the local stores find a grower who takes pride in what they do and it will reflect in the product.

If you want to check out a local shop the only one I would recommend is World Peace on Water street in Elmira. They deal mostly with local growers and have set themselves apart from "sticker stores".

Most definitely  avoid the 2 that have the little sticker store radio commercial wars

It often comes down to a matter of "scale" and how much effort the shopper wants to put into their meal choices.  Buying any quantity besides "single portion" can require separating portions for the freezer or peeling and chopping produce.  And having a few staples on hand like bread crumbs or butter....to "prepare" instead of shoving it in the microwave for 4 1/2 minutes.

At our local Walmart, a Hungry Man chicken dinner weighing in at a one pound total food weight is $3.74 (that's less than half the cost of a similar meal at the KFC drive thru, so the EBT recipient buying Hungry Man is at least trying harder than those hitting up fast food now that it's allowed).

But still nearly twice the cost, pound for pound, as buying the components add out to be about $1.80/lb (assuming the chicken weight is roughly equal to the side dishes).

      Boneless Chicken Breast: $2.97/lb

      Potatoes: $.79/lb

     Frozen Corn: $1.66/lb

    Preach!

Wait you can get  fast food now with welfare? Man I chose the wrong career patch.

This report did not surprise me.  Do you remember when your youngest brother had his head slammed into a locker.  We later were told it was a case of “mistaken identity”.  Your Dad left work at went to the school.  He spoke to the Principal and basically they wanted to handle the matter in school.  Hubby said no, call the Police but they wouldn’t.  Hubby took our son to the ER, he had a concussion.  Next stop was the Police Dept. and charges were filed.  The school wasn’t happy.

I would strongly suggest to the parents that if your child is physically assaulted or bullied, file charges with the Police.  Assault and or Harassment.  Have the “bad asses” arrested.

I got head butted not slammed into a locker. He got a restraining order and booted from school I believe.

  12. Seen 2 very interesting Deer related things from customers. 1 was a piebald buck whose antlers went straight out each side no curve up. The lady told me he is off limits for hunters and she will rain down fire and brimstone if she catches someone trying to harvest him.

The 2nd was a deer that met a truck and didnt win the battler but the hear was outside the body a good distance away just beating away. Very interesting video.
