They should have been charged with something for harassing the little guys. To bad momma wasn't around for that.

Im not surprised, and I think we’ll see this happen to more places as time goes on. We don’t eat out nearly as often as we used to and when we do, we try our best to go to someplace that’s locally owned and operated.
Yeah I don't frequent to many chain restaurants when we do its mostly Texas Roadhouse. Surprisingly this time I got the red lobster to go and it was better than when we ate in person last year when we went. I also skipped getting lobster because last time it just didn't taste the greatest. This time just went with one of the pick 4 shrimp and it was great.

I was obviously adopted. Or you were.
Must be you were the adopted one. Breakfast sausage is gross and even more so when dipped in syrup

I highly recommend the cheese steak and their mac and cheese both are delicious. I am not sure how I feel about air-fried fish

I think the noise complaints were a bunch of bull. I picked my daughter up from practice there multiple times while music events were happening and it was not loud at all

I find it hilarious she pointed out the fact that she was using British spelling

Just makes you wonder whose buddy is fixing the clock tower so many better ways to spend that 3.5 million. Most people can only read digital clocks these days anyways

If you don't like it then why are you still here? Plenty of other countries you can go to so don't let the doorknob hit you where the good lord split you!!

I think - if you look at the numbers - that he has much more than a snowball's chance of winning.
Well I lived in Ithaca for 30 years so just a couple. Lets see those numbers

Mr.Hasselhoff just looks like a flake from Ithaca. He does not stand a snowballs chance in hell at winning.

His software malfunctioned and his handlers did a soft reboot on him. We must not watch the same news.

Police
in Local News
2 hours ago, Elizabeth Whitehouse said:I do seriously believe it. I heard a lot while campaigning, and I learned a lot during the very thorough public input period concerning police reform. The police are increasingly militarized, and they are trained to use force if they feel threatened. (The Washington post tracked 8,727 fatal police shootings since 2015). It's easy to say, well, yes, but that doesn't apply to our police. Perhaps not. But they hunt in packs (Three officers, each a a separate car to respond to a day time call in a respectable neighborhood), and they target the poor and the POCs.
At the end of the day I wonder whether we are getting our money's worth. The police cost the City almost one-third of its budget. Are we getting a good return on investment?
2 hours ago, Elizabeth Whitehouse said:I can't believe you just said that.
If the police were in fact good shots, they would shoot to disable, not to kill. But the torso is a much easier target than an arm or a leg.
1 hour ago, Elizabeth Whitehouse said:I know that if I was shot in the arm, I would drop my weapon; f I were shot in the leg I would drop to the ground.
The bigger point is that police are very quick to assume that the person they are confronting is trying to kill them.
Your breath must smell horrible with all this shit you spew from it. You and the candidate you represent need to crawl back under the rock you came from.

There is no need for any cop interacting directly with the public to be armed (and primed to shoot first and ask questions later.) Few members of the public will want to approach an officer who might shoot them before hearing what they have to say.
If they are a good shot there will be no need for questions.

Those trees really would not be much work to remove the city should really fund the whole project and renew this wonderful historic site. 5-6 good working volunteers could hammer out most of the work in a weekend or 2. The city really needs to get its priorities straight!!

23 hours ago, Chris said:I recently got quite an education as to why the fair has shrunk in size. ( I was told 11 rides this year compared to 27 in 2019 ).
In 2021, James E. Strates apparently couldn't do the fair due to a lack of manpower. So Wheelock was booked as the ride provider, with the understanding that Strates would return in 2022. However this didn't happen, so Wheelock would again do it, with Strates adding 3 of their rides to Wheelock's. That gave a total of 16 rides for that year.
Allegedly this past spring a five year contract was signed with Wheelock. They brought a total of 12 rides, one of which didn't pass inspection and could not be used. Strates was not involved in any way for unspecified reasons.
