Solar Eclipse, lightning striking the Statue of Liberty, earthquake, if you believe in signs you might say these are warnings 😉

I read Mike Rower’s article plus some of the comments. He’s getting quite a bit of flack but he’s holding his own.

Took my $4 winnings and bought 2 tickets plus 3 more. That’s a record for me as I don’t usually buy more than 2 tickets once every blue moon lol.

Today I checked my two tickets for Monday’s draw and I won $4.00. That makes me a happy winner 😂

I won’t be surprised if this charge gets reduced.

Briefly engaged in FB conversation tonight with a relative and we did not agree. Yea or nay, what do you think?

I attended Parochial School and grew up attending Church when Mass in Latin. I continued attending after the Church changed Mass to English but felt “something” was lost. For me, it wasn’t the same and I eventually stopped going to Church. I miss the beauty, the structure, the solemnity the feeling of being “home”, of the Latin Mass of my childhood.

True, if the actors bring the story to life all that matters is the story.

I find it hypocritical that prior to announcing his candidacy in 2016, Trump was “the man”. The movers and shakers loved spending time with him, taking pictures with him, visiting his golf clubs and other properties. He was one of “them”.
However, his candidacy and eventual Presidency changed their opinions. His personality didn’t change, just his position and suddenly he was evil incarnate. From the get go, no one gave him a chance to see what he could accomplish. Republicans and Democrats both went after him with a vengeance. Suddenly it was “get Trump”. I find what’s being done to him via our so called legal system reprehensible.
We are sheep being led to the slaughter; who the butcher is remains to be seen.

11 hours ago, Chris said:I understand full well the context of what he was saying. The problem is there’s a lot of people out there, who hang on his every word, that don’t understand context.
And he knows that.
There are a minority of radicals on both sides but I have to believe the majority of average Americans (not suffering from TDS) know and understand exactly what he is saying. They live with and see the consequences of the current administration’s policies.

Check at 50 minutes, bake time can vary based on your oven. This makes 2 loaves so enjoy.

Were they out of line? Depends on whose line. They were adults and voiced their anger and frustration at an individual who may be surprised to learn she is not this State’s savior and not every one agrees with her.

If your State’s Primary hasn’t been held yet, where is the choice? They have been declared the party nominees. I guess you could write in a candidate but, to me, that vote doesn’t really count.

Perhaps his purpose was to simply get the position.

This whole thing is BS. If you have a penis use the boy’s/men’s restroom, a vagina use the women’s/girl’s restroom. The same with sports.
I’m tired of the majority of people being forced to accept concepts or language that doesn’t make sense because of how a few individuals feel. Do what you have to do to live your life without interfering with others. Just my opinion. -

No game playing. Agree they both are not my first choice but was curious as to how you would decide.

I remember paper bags (trees are renewal) and glass bottles (also reusable). But the big this was go green to save the planet, plastic is better.

So who is the lesser of two evils?

That feels like he could theoretically be written up for multiple felonies in addition to DWI....and those degrees and "classes" could depend on the seriousness of injuries and his BAC.
I always thought that 'reduced' charge negotiations generally involved dropping (or lowering to a lesser charge) the most serious charges..... and prosecuting lower charges. If my perceptions on that are correct.....then something like a Class E DWI itself could be a reduced/lowered charge in lieu of a some other charge(s) like aggravated vehicular assault (or the less likely "attempted murder" as some suggest from his pattern).
DWI charges are not supposed to be reduced out of that category. You can reduce a felony to misdemeanor or a first DWI to DWAI.
Once, I had to report a DWI reduced to a regular VTL charge and DCJS would not accept that report. OCA attorneys called the Court. I’ve also seen Felonies reduced to misdemeanors then further reduced to violations. It was discouraging to see Monty Hall’s Let’s Make A Deal in the justice system. I hope it doesn’t happen in this case.

Instead of laying off staff let’s look at salary reduction starting at the top and work your way down. $230k is too much for any superintendent in this area.
