Chris 2,090 Posted December 19, 2020 The only caveat I would add to this is to be careful not to add so much straw to your compost pile it packs together and doesn't break down. Kevin 334 Posted April 19, 2022 I am taking a year off from this because the location I put it will be under construction this year. But I will be back next year. One thing I did learn last year is once the bale's are wet it doesn't take much water to keep them wet. It is a great method if you want to do it.
