Athens Man Sentenced For Drug Charges

TOWANDA — An Athens man will serve time in state prison for multiple offenses that include drug-related activity in Sayre.

33 year old Wyatt Robert Yanney of Athens PA was sentenced one to six years in prison, followed by four years probation, for multiple offenses that included drug possession with intent to deliver. He was convicted of felony possession with intent to deliver 10 to 50 grams of psilocybin mushrooms. He was sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas in Towanda.

Yanney was also convicted on charges of third-degree felony flight to avoid apprehension, second-degree misdemeanor resisting arrest, second-degree misdemeanor tampering with physical evidence and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
