Moon Knight

Recommended Posts

Has anyone else watched the new Moon Knight show on Disney+?

He is a odd superhero.

Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector, a mercenary with dissociative identity disorder who has been gifted special abilities by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.

It seems like it's gonna be a good show, bummer it only has 6 episodes, I was hoping for 7-8.

We watched it the other night and it’s definitely different, but we enjoyed the first episode. Looking forward to more!

Everything I read said episode 4 is the turning point. The issue as I see it is most people don't know Moon Knight so they have to build the story from the ground up.

I think what I got tired of most, and pretty quick in episode 2, was the whole, “Who/Where am I?”

We get it. Move on.

Episode 3 definitely is the best so far.

You get to see Moon Knight in action for more than a few minutes.

Well the good news is I’m no longer the only one who has no idea what’s going on.

It looks like they are introducing Jake Lockley the 3rd and final personality.

They are easy to keep apart. Jake has a moustache. If you look at the reflection when he is elbow deep in the mummy you see he has a moustache.

While Stephen is very nice and Mark only hurts or kills when necessary, Jake has no moral compass.

Episode 5 was incredibly dark, but a lot of things were explained. Not at all what I expected but I loved it. Can't wait to see how it all ends, I'd love to see a second season of this, might even get into the comics

Unfortunately they only signed Oscar Isaac for just the 1 season, so a 2nd season is doubtful. But I would love to see it. Episode 5 did explain a lot and who doesn't love a talking Hippo?

At the start of Ep 5, people pointed out that his voice with “Dr. Harrow” sounded different from Marc’s or Steven’s, so looks like we’ll see him in the finale?

I was just just reading an article about that. It's unfortunate it only has 1 episode left, 2-3 more would be perfect.

So I wonder, do they have a plan, including Oscar Issac signed on to continue? And if so, how long will we have to wait to see Season 2? I barely know what's going on now, never mind having to re-watch Season 1 because 2 years has passed.

Everything I read said Oscar Isaac was only signed on for 5 episodes and that was it. I think the show was a bigger hit than anticipated. Let's be honest most people had never heard of knew what Moon Knight was about. I had a passing knowledge because I read some the comic books in the 90's

Now the series (🤞) finale is great. It tied everything up without feeling rushed some of the action scenes are amazing.

We'll have to catch up on 5 & 6 tonight.

And I admit, I had no idea what "Moon Knight" was before this. Hell, I'm not so sure I do now!

I thought the finale was pretty solid. I was a bit worried they wouldn’t be able to tie things together neatly, but I think they did a good job with it!

There IS a credits scene, that I believe serves as a tease to a second season
