I have heard too many horror stories about buying honey in the grocery store.  I had to give up my hives several years ago.  Does anyone know where the local honey is sold? I saw some about 2 months ago when I was out and about, but forget where...and alas it is now gone .

Yeah, the store bought is iffy at best.  Aside from just naturally having more antioxidants, honey made from local pollens helps boost allergy protection.

Burt Beebe in Big Flats has a variety, check his website at HoneyBeeMade.com. There's also a guy in Pine Valley on Johnson Hollow that sells it from his roadside stand.

These are the folk that bought out our apiary when it got too difficult ( sure do miss it though ) to manage . They are at the top of the Beekeeping game and always looking to learn more about these amazing little critters . Nothing but pure unadulterated honey , processed in the cleanest way possible and bottled with pride ! Sounds as though I think a lot of this couple … Yes we do 👍Also have a FB page for locations for products .

Thanks!  Just what I was looking for...Has any one dropped into the beekeeper on 352?  I keep seeing him on my way home from Fiddle lessons, but he isn't open then.

I can personally vouch for these folks ,  They are at  the top of the Beekeepers game ! Always looking to find ways to keep their apiary and bees in top condition and take great pains in how they process their products , from the extractor directly to the sterile jar !
When I get missing beekeeping they invite me up to help or just relax and talk all things Honeybee , and believe me , they know more about beekeeping than most others have forgotten.
Too much LOL , thats just because they are that good . Interesting videos if you care to check them out .
