Chris 3,379 Posted May 31, 2024 Quote “With the 33rd pick in the 2024 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select Keon Coleman receiver Florida State.” Within days of being Drafted to the Buffalo Bills, Coleman would take to social media to encourage people to donate to Hope for Opelousas on SOLA Giving Day, gaining the attention of the Mafia Babes, a non-profit organization of all female Bills fans that drive funding to charities selected by Bills players. “Us donating is wrapping him in the giant bills mafia hug it really that’s what bills Mafia does best,” Lara Mckee, vice president of Mafia Babes, said. “Once we embrace a player and they embrace us back, it’s just meant to be.” “When Keon shared it on social media and the Bills Mafia Babes started the momentum and shared it through their channels. It just went crazy,” Carriere said. With newfound support from the Bills Mafia, Hope for Opelousas would receive the surprise of a lifetime by raising over $160,000... Twin Tiers Living 525 Posted July 9, 2024 Quote The Buffalo Bills made several cost-cutting moves this offseason. The team released Jordan Poyer, Mitch Morse, Siran Neal, and others to get under the salary cap threshold. Buffalo would also go on to trade Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in early April. While many of the players that the Bills moved on from were still playing at a high level, their salaries and age factored into Buffalo’s decision making. Buffalo will likely lean on several young players to step up this season. While many of the new faces will need to establish themselves, the Bills do have a few “blue-chip players” under 25-years old. In an article for ESPN Insider, Aaron Schatz ranked every team in the league based on their talent under-25 years old. This year, the Bills came in at No. 16. While that is right in the middle of the pack it is a significant rise from where the team was one year ago. You can see the rest here.
Twin Tiers Living 525 Posted July 11, 2024 Quote Coleman, 21, has been been projected as the team’s starting X receiver in 2024 and is expected to factor into Buffalo’s offense immediately. With plenty of playing time coming his way and a lot of targets to replace, Coleman was recently asked by CBS Sports’ Bryant McFadden if he felt any pressure in replacing players like Diggs and Davis. “Not at all,” said Coleman. “All I do is come in and be myself, be where I’m supposed to be. The play is gonna make itself, all I gotta do is just be in the moment. Because I’m not Gabe, I’m not Stef, I’m just Keon. We got a lot of other guys that definitely complement my game and we complement each other’s games, along with Josh, to make things work.” Source

Twin Tiers Living 525 Posted August 6, 2024 Quote PITTSFORD, N.Y. (WKBW) — It was another hot one at Bills Training Camp in Pittsford on Thursday. Rose Murphy was there with her family, standing outside the field's fence to watch her favorite team practice. Suddenly, the 69-year-old from West Seneca fainted. "I remember white, and that's it," explained Murphy. "She's not responding to anything so I was in shock," explained her niece Sarah Lysek. "I start yelling at the field, 'Can someone please help us?'" Lysek says a nurse named Katie jumped into action to help Rose, along with trainers and staff who brought over wet towels and Gatorade. "Thank God for them, they're amazing," she added. While Murphy was on the ground, fans nearby saw Josh Allen jogging over. Read the rest here.
Twin Tiers Living 525 Posted August 6, 2024 Quote On one short pass to slot receiver Andy Isabella, defensive tackle DeShawn Williams barreled into the 5-foot-8, 188-pound pass catcher. Isabella needed attention from the athletic training staff for a few moments and was helped off the field. A few minutes later, Isabella - receiving more attention on the sideline - was carted off the practice field with what appeared to be a leg injury. After the play, Bills quarterback Josh Allen had some words for the defense, and the two sides came together in a minor skirmish. Backup center Alec Anderson was in the middle of the get-together. Chris 3,379 Posted August 7, 2024 This right here is the best news of all: “Bills linebacker Matt Milano had one of his best practices of the summer, shutting down multiple runs at or behind the line of scrimmage. He had a sack on a blitz with safety Taylor Rapp early in the 11-on-11 period. Milano’s upward trajectory since the start of camp has to be a relief for Bills fans who are worried about his potential availability to start the season. He looks more comfortable each day.”
Twin Tiers Living 525 Posted August 8, 2024 Quote Pittsford, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott announced on Thursday that quarterback Josh Allen and the starters will play for about a quarter in the preseason opener against the Chicago Bears at Highmark Stadium. The Bears will tak on the Bills at Highmark Stadium August 10th at 1 p.m. on NFL Network, FOX32, WIVB. Stream on fuboTV, DirecTV Stream, Sling, Hulu + Live TV, NFL+. Twin Tiers Living 525 Posted August 12, 2024 Quote The Buffalo Bills would like to take their preseason debut against the Chicago Bears and flush it down the toilet. Despite No. 1 pick Caleb Williams only playing a handful of snaps, Chicago managed to put up 33 points while the Bills could manage just six in response. The Bills seemed willing to use this game as a form of open tryouts for the wide receiver room and offensive line. With so many players struggling to cement themselves as no-doubt starters on those units, there's a chance that a strong preseason could force the Bills' hand. While there were a handful of strong performances in the Bills' loss, including 2023 breakout stud Khalil Shakir, players like KJ Hamler were exceedingly tough to watch. For Hamler, he may have played so poorly that his chances of making the final roster have gone up in smoke. Not only did Hamler muff a kickoff return that forced Buffalo to start at their own 17-yard line despite the new kickoff rules, but he dropped a pass. He ended the day with one nine-yard catch. With the margins for making this roster razor-thin, Hamler did not make a very good first impression. Source
Twin Tiers Living 525 Posted August 12, 2024 Quote Throughout training camp, the Bills had their ups and downs in some aspects. However, there is one recent theme that has come out of training camp for Buffalo. That theme is "good vibes". It all started out with a statement by Josh Allen talking about Stefon Diggs and how while Diggs was a fantastic player, Allen noted that he doesn’t necessarily miss, according to Alex Brasky. Allen would then later note that he is happy with how things are with the team and how everyone is working hard. So while he says that Diggs was reliable and has the talent, him saying that he wouldn’t say he “misses” him is definitely worth noting. Cornerback Kaiir Elam was asked about Allen’s statement about the vibes and how they are better overall with the team. According to a clip posted by Matthew Bove, Elam talked about how “it feels like everyone is more free” and that “everybody is not as tense”. Source
Chris 3,379 Posted August 14, 2024 Quote The Buffalo Bills have not yet provided an update on the injury status of star linebacker Matt Milano. On Tuesday, the 30-year-old left his team's practice early. It appeared that Milano hurt his arm. On the positive side, Milano departed the workout but did not leave the field according to reports. A serious knock would have required him to head into the locker room with medical personnel. On Wednesday, Buffalo defensive coordinator Bobby Babich declined a chance to update Milano's status. Babich instead deferred to head coach Sean McDermott, who was not scheduled to speak until Thursday. Babich cited that it's customary for the head coach to update injuries, which is true. Source Man, this kid can't catch a break. The Bills need him on the field!!!
Chris 3,379 Posted August 15, 2024 Motherf---er... Quote Matt Milano missed all but five games during the 2023 NFL season, leaving the Buffalo Bills without one of their top defensive playmakers. Now the star linebacker will be absent for another extended period, with the team confirmingThursday that the former All-Pro will undergo surgery for a torn biceps suffered this week. "It's unfortunate news regarding Matt Milano's bicep injury," coach Sean McDermott said in a team statement. "He's a resilient person and we're all here to support him." I was really looking forward to seeing him fold guys in half again:
Twin Tiers Living 525 Posted August 18, 2024 Quote Andreessen, a University at Buffalo product who went undrafted in April, made the Bills in May after impressing during a rookie minicamp tryout. Three months later, he was responsible for calling and leading the Bills defense against former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Russell Wilson. Twelve tackles later - with an entire fan base buzzing about Andreessen - the 24-year-old has firmly placed himself in contention to make the team for real when general manager Brandon Beane selects the final 53 players. Twin Tiers Living 525 Posted August 21, 2024 Quote Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a front-row seat to Coleman’s dropped touchdown because he was on the sidelines. Allen didn’t play against the Steelers and won’t play against the Carolina Panthers this weekend in the preseason finale. Allen said that Coleman’s drop is a necessary learning experience for the young receiver. “I know Mitchell said that he could have gave him a better ball, and Keon’s going to say he could have caught that,” Allen said. “So, if we can clean up a little bit of both, I think we’re probably celebrating in the end zone and everyone’s staying calm.” Injuries have ravaged the Bills’ wide receiver room. Valdes-Scantling is out, and veteran Curtis Samuel is also trying to recover from a turf toe injury. Both have unclear timelines for return, which could mean even more pressure and expectations for Coleman with the regular season opener less than three weeks away. Meanwhile, he and Allen are working on drills for regular season. I think that's when you're going to see this kid shine.
