Elmira Telegram 285 Posted November 17 A Big Flats man who allegedly got into a verbal altercation with someone ended up in more hot water than he could have imagined: Quote According to Chemung County Sheriff William Schrom, on November 12, deputies responded to a report of a verbal altercation in which one f the parties brandished a handgun. A resident on Davenport Road in the Town of Big Flats told police that he’d witnessed 58 year old Daniel K. Llewellyn driving by at a high rate of speed. When he yelled for Llewellyn to slow down, he stopped his vehicle and got out, then allegedly displayed a handgun during the argument that ensured.
