2023 Jack Lisi Youth Award Recipients Announced

The Jack Lisi Youth Award, Inc. is pleased to announce its nineteen award recipients, each receiving $2,500.

The Jack Lisi Youth Award Program was established in 1991 in memory of Jack Lisi, former Steuben County Sheriff. Its mission is to continue the legacy of caring and assisting young adults in their future successes. The annual Jack Lisi Youth Award, Recognition-Incentive for Young Adults is presented to young people age 16 to 21, living in Steuben County or a currently registered student in a participating school district. The recognition-incentive can be used towards additional education, financial assistance at college, college books or other educational material and college work- related materials.

The honorees for 2023 are: Shannon Larkin, Addison Central School District; Hunter Whelpley, Alfred-Almond Central School District; Stuart Kernan, Arkport Central School District; Trevor Thomas, Avoca Central School; Kaylynne Cleveland, Bath Central School District; Hailey Ostrander, Bath Central School District; Mariah Hodnett, Bradford Central School; Mitchell Nichols-Johnson, Campbell-Savona Central School District; Emily Johnson, Canaseraga Central
School District; Molly Brizzee, Canisteo-Greenwood Central School District; Asharie Showers, Corning-Painted Post Area Schools; Shawna Pierson, Corning-Painted Post Area Schools; Dakota Aldrich, Hammondsport Central School

District; Melody Marcellus, Hornell City School District; Katie Do, Hornell City School District; Benjamin Price, Jasper-Troupsburg Central School District; Ariana Sierra, Prattsburgh Central School District; Olivia Singer, Wayland-Cohocton

Central School District; and Ethan Buchanan, Wayland-Cohocton Central School District. Award recipients will be recognized on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 6:30 pm.

The Jack Lisi Youth Award, Inc. Ceremony will be held at Bath Central School District's Auditorium. Registration is required. To register, go to www.lisiyouthaward.org. All are welcome to attend.
