Spencer Man Charged With Possession And Sharing Of Child Pornography

On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation from SP Horseheads arrested 39 year old Joshua H. Maulucci of Spencer and charged him with three counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance of a Child (D Felony) and three counts of Possessing Sexual Performance of a Child (E Felony)

Police say the arrest comes following an investigation into a report from NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) of Child Sexual Abuse Material being shared via the internet.  The New York State Police Computer Crimes Units from Troop C and Troop E conducted the investigation into the allegations with assistance from members of State Police barracks in Horseheads.

Maulucci was transported to Schuyler County Jail for CAP arraignment.

Is it just me but it seems like there’s an increase in child porn/sexual abuse in this area.  I truly can not understand why the idea of children in these situations is appealing. These individuals need to be permanently isolated from the rest of society.  An island with no Wi-Fi, electricity or escape sounds good to me.
