Clinton 'won' most of the urban centers in 2016, but not by solid enough margins to outweigh the rural red support. Then "Scranton Joe" managed to change them slight degrees. Still very narrow margins. And he had endorsements by more labor unions than Harris.

Chris 3,135 Posted October 28 I won’t say I can’t believe this type of rhetoric from a “news” station like MSNBC, but good God, this is going to new low extremes, even for them:

Considering how many political rallies have been held there since (even a few Democratic Conventions that included Bill Clinton accepting the 1992 DNC nomination), I'd thought it would lose traction quickly. Sad to see MSNBC dredging up footage to double down on the nonsense.
Twin Tiers Living 476 Posted October 30 Quote Shortly before Vice President Harris took the stage to deliver the closing argument for her campaign, promising to turn the page on division in the country, President Biden undermined that sentiment with a remark in a video call with a Latino voting group. In Biden's remarks, it sounded like he was calling supporters of former President Donald Trump "garbage." Republicans have latched on to those comments, saying Biden had called half the country "garbage," and making the gaffe a rallying cry — much like Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” quip at a 2016 fundraiser. Biden and the White House quickly moved to clarify his comment. But it gave Republicans an opening to sidestep the controversy unleashed by a disparaging and politically toxic joke about Puerto Rico made by a comedian on Sunday at a Madison Square Garden rally for Trump. Chris 3,135 Posted October 31 I’m dying. After Biden’s comments calling Trump supporters “garbage,” Trump showed up to an event in a garbage truck today. Yes, this actually happened. 🤣🤣🤣 1

MsKreed 1,540 Posted October 31 I found the over-arching message that women are all "Sleeping With the Enemy" pretty cringeworthy.

I think at this point, any man who is paying attention knows that society views us as inherently bad. As for the ad, pretty hypocritical, really. What about the men whose wives may be forcing them to vote a certain way? Oh that's okay, especially if they're voting for Harris.

And I believe that the generalized “public scorn” of all Trump supporters (and men in particular) is a large part of the trend we’ve seen since 2016 of him performing better than polls suggest....often above the margins of error. I honestly think there’s a significant population that are cautious about admitting they support him or his policies on issues they feel are important. Because they simply want to avoid the inevitable confrontation.

We will see who the silent majority is next I guess. Personally I think that no matter what happens it will be a shit show. I don't believe the US is going to be better off with either of them in office

And on, and on and on… How many more random coincidences should we look for? There was only one Hitler, alright? And the sonofabitch is burning in Hell where he belongs. Calling Trump or anyone “Hitler” only diminishes the heinous acts he’s responsible for. No one has come close since. Trump is a vile narcissistic POS, but he’s hardly Hitler. Get a damned grip.
